Mousse and the 2 Shampoo's

One cold winter day, Mousse decides to wrap the scarf he has just knitted for Shampoo around the neck of a jizou (according to Edict, a jizou is a "Ksitigarbha (bodhisattva who looks over children, travellers and the underworld) ; the Receptacle of Earth."  In other words, the buddhist equivalent of a garden dwarf ^.^). Then, out of nowhere a second Shampoo appears: the jizou came back for Mousse in this form as a return of favor (ongaeshi) and agreed to date him. However, it soon appears that Mousse is growing weaker and weaker from this, even though he finally seems happy...

Mousse looks, somewhat sadly, at the jizou

Mousse wakes up in the middle of the night to find a dark figure hovering above him...

This has got to be the sweetest picture of Mousse ever...Shampoo says that she had never seen Mousse look so happy before...

Lovely...Title reads:"Tonight also I'll return your favor"

Shampoo just standing there looking at Mousse with an expression between pity and worry

Top picture: how Mousse sees his date with the jizou
Bottom picture: the cruel reality

A kind gesture on Shampoo's behalf...

But it wasn't enough to keep Mousse from fainting in exhaustion...
